Honoured to have been endorsed by Steve Witherden for Montgomeryshire & Glyndŵr as a Senedd candidate for Gwynedd Maldwyn. It’s an honor working beside Steve and I hope it can continue with me in the Senedd and him in Westminster.
“Ian Parry has shown his mettle as: Montgomeryshire and Glyndŵr Constituency Labour Party Secretary; the Chairperson of Carreghofa Community Council; and as my Senior Caseworker since summer 2024. I have witnessed first hand, time and again, Ian’s energy, passion, talents and abilities in fighting for the rights of our constituents and I am glad to extend my full endorsement to his campaign, because I know he would be a great champion for Gwynedd Maldwyn.”
“Mae Ian Parry wedi dangos ei allu fel: Ysgrifennydd Plaid Lafur Etholaeth Maldwyn a Glyndŵr; Cadeirydd Cyngor Cymuned Carreghofa; ac fel fy Uwch Weithiwr Achos ers haf 2024. Rwyf wedi gweld, dro ar ôl tro, egni, angerdd, talentau a galluoedd Ian wrth frwydro dros hawliau ein hetholwyr ac rwy’n falch o estyn fy nghefnogaeth lawn i’w ymgyrch, oherwydd rwy’n gwybod y byddai’n hyrwyddwr gwych dros Gwynedd Maldwyn.”

An honour to speak today at the counter demonstration organised in Newtown.
Anrhydedd oedd siarad heddiw yn y gwrthdystiad a drefnwyd yn y Drenewydd gan
It was a wonderful event where we showed that solidarity is more important than division and where love is stronger than hate.
Roedd yn ddigwyddiad gwych lle dangoson ni fod undod yn bwysicach na rhaniad a bod cariad yn gryfach na chasineb.
The problems in our country are the result of the elites who seek to divide us and who blame others for the problems they cause. It’s time for a wealth tax, it’s time for social and economic justice, and it’s time we all came together.
Mae’r problemau yn ein gwlad yn ganlyniad i’r elit sy’n ceisio ein rhannu ac yn rhoi bai ar eraill am y problemau maen nhw’n eu hachosi. Mae’n amser am dreth gyfoeth, mae’n amser am gyfiawnder cymdeithasol ac economaidd, ac mae’n hen bryd i ni i gyd ddod at ein gilydd.

My name is Ian Parry, and I am honoured to be shortlisted as a Welsh Labour Candidate for Gwynedd Maldwyn, the place that I call home.
What we need most are local, progressive candidates. Elections are not about individuals, they are about what we can achieve when united.
I want to stand on a platform that all members can get behind, and run a campaign that is inclusive, forward thinking, energetic, and principled.
Welsh Labour has given Wales so much. In this upcoming election, we have to remind voters to protect the things they love about our country.
I want a fair deal for Wales, a patient-centric NHS, to return prosperity to rural communities, and to build a green and better connected Wales.
I look forward to meeting my fellow Labour members and starting on the road to making that Wales a reality.
